I shall be at the library from around 2 pm on 24th October for a general natter to whoever wants to chat to me on whatever subject they want. Then at 2.30 p.m. I’ll be delivering a talk on the state of the criminal justice system in England in the early years of the 19th Century. Signed copies of my books will be available for sale. More copies will, of course, be available through the library service.

Bristol Crimefest – Friday 16th May 2014

The second of the two panels that I’ll be on is at 10.10 am on Friday morning. I’m moderating a panel under the title  ‘Historical Crime Fiction: It’s Not All Downton Abbey – The British Perspective.’  With me will be Dolores Gordon-Smith, Andrew Martin, Imogen Robertson, and Linda Stratmann.

Thursday 7th November 2013  – Wadhurst, East Sussex

I’ll be launching my new book ‘The Rising Tide’ at Wadhurst Library,  with a talk, followed by a question and answer session. After that it becomes much more informal so if you want a meet, then come along.The event is open to all although space is limited. If you are thinking of coming, it mght be an idea to get there early to ensure a place. Tickets cost £3.50 and include a glass of wine and nibbles. Saturday 21st September – Wapping, East London

The Thames Police Museum opens to the public this weekend (Satursday 21st and Sunday 22nd September 2013. Doors open at 10am until 5pm. I plan on being there from about 11am until around 4pm and I’ll have a few copies of my books available to those who’d like to purchase them. I’m also there as a guide to the extensive range of historical exhibits including the sort of equipment that Tom Pascoe would have used.
